Over 75% of Covid-19 patients in the pune Metropolitan Region (PMR) have gone on to make successful recoveries, data released on Monday showed.
The region's recovery rate is now higher than the national average 0f 70%. The state's average is around 67.5%.
On Monday, data showed that 82,432 from among 1,09,323 patients had recovered. the region's recovery rate, except for the month of April when it ranged between 9% and 16%, has been on a steady climb.
On june 19, the recovery rate was 61%, followed by 65% in July. These figures are a substantial improvement from early May, when the recovery rate stood at just 24%.

Nicolas Kfuri , Director - Kfuri Consulting who is a renowned Global Expert and Consultant to various corporates
Dr. Kfuri discussed various contemporary concepts of 7 traps, Looping, Purpose, 4 Cs of creativity, Holistic approach, Prospective framework, leaders leading by example, Straction (strategy +actions), customer centricity and thus beautifully explained the process through which the desired changes can be brought about, in the thought process of an aspiring and existing leader. He concluded the session commenting on how incredible our great nation India is, and how there is so much to learn from its diversity and complexity. The participants were intrigued with the insightful information that was delivered through this virtual session and the questions kept on pouring till the last minute from the audience.

Every year ISBS organizes its flagship annual International Business Plan Competition – IndiaPreneur to motivate the budding entrepreneurs and provide the much needed platform for them to showcase their ideas to Investors, Incubators and Venture Capitalists. Cash Prizes worth one lakh plus are awarded along with exciting goodies to the deserving winners.
This year Corona Virus has been an international pandemic situation that has changed the way we live and function. Keeping safety of everyone in mind, with the help of technology, ISBS conducted IndiaPreneur 2020 entirely on virtual platform which further validates it as one of the top ranked PGDM colleges in Pune.
Every year the competitive benchmark and the battle amongst the top brains of the country has been pushed up a notch and with the new addition of technology, it has been pushed up even higher. ISBS students collaborated with Cybage in their various Corporate Social Responsibility surveys aimed at finding the actual pain areas of the villagers.
ISBS students helped Navkshitij – a home for specially challenged friends by participating in the Walkathon and Street Play event on the theme of Save Environment.
Clothes were donated by students, staff and faculty to Goodwill Foundation for further distribution to needy members of our society.
Students of ISBS visited Prerna Bhavan to spend time with the mentally challenged friends.
We believe in the thought - “You may not plant millions of trees but if you can take care of one single tree with love and care, that will make you great”
The activity was carried out by students and staff members. Some Students even made their peers and family members a part of this wonderful initiative.
On the occasion of Pedestrian Day (Gandhi Jayanti), i.e. on 2nd October 2019, our Students participated in an activity planned by Global Shapers Community – Pune Hub.
On 1st October 2019, our students participated in “Proper Waste Management” drive along with an NGO, Do Save Foundation.
From Nurturing our inner talents to eradicating the fear to speak up,ISBS has polished my skills and added a shine to my personality. By participating in various events organised at college and inter college level, I have established my Leadership,time management and team skills and have also been able to advance these skills to whole new augment level. The professors have made ISBS what it is today. With an attitude of being ever ready to help and not only delivering classroom teaching but also providing students with real time case studies and hands on industry experience with field project works , they are the pillars of the learning gained from this esteemed college and this is a treasure for life.
